About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Tenant Integration Engineer in our Chantilly, VA office in support of our Department of Defense (DoD) customer as part of a highly talented, highly motivated, and high-performing team. As a member of the Functional Engineering Team, you will support an exciting program which involves design, development, test, and deployment of a highly complex system in an Agile construct to contribute to mission success for a variety of stakeholders. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a single point of contact for a set of tenants for a cloud-based infrastructure program providing multiple service capabilities to customers Work directly with tenants and industry partners to onboard, integrate, and maintain a point of presence on the system. Interface with government customer and other organizations to keep integration on track, on schedule, and manage expectations. Act as advocate to ensure tenant requirements are being satisfied and integrated throughout the development cycle Assess, document, coordinate, and track changes to baseline requirements for traceability and customer coordination Generate and maintain artifacts in support of program milestones and requirements capture throughout program lifecycle Facilitate information sharing among team members for technical understanding, dependencies and status of capabilities, requirements, and services Coordinate with Functional teammates, technical development teams, and government SETA counterparts to ensure end-to-end requirements and compliance with established program processes May be required to support occasional travel within the local area or to CONUS-based tenant-site locations

Requirements

  • This position requires the candidate to possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
  • Associates degree and 10+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field; OR bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, network engineering, computer science, process management, or related field and 8+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field; OR a master's degree in systems engineering, network engineering, computer science, process management, or related field and 6+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering related field. Additional Four (4) years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
  • 6 (+) years of experience supporting large government programs in a customer service, helpdesk, or engineering capacity
  • Direct experience with satellite ground systems or cloud-based infrastructure environment programs responsible for infrastructure integration and cloud reliability engineering
  • Experience supporting technical teams and working with technical staff
  • Experience with DoD/IC system development and deployment in a secure environment

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing stakeholder expectations
  • Experience working in cloud and enterprise architecture that leverages concepts such as virtualization, containers, and automation
  • Understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, DaaS)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, Subnets, LoadBalancers, DNS, VPNs)
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience and ability to use Jira, Confluence, and other development tools
  • Experience creating detailed reports and briefing presentations (Power Point)
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Visio
  • A track record of following through on commitments
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Experience in Agile development environments
