About The Position

TSCG, a third party, privately held commercial real estate company, is hiring a Tenant Coordinator in our Atlanta, Georgia office. The Tenant Coordinator supports the Property Management team with a diverse portfolio of retail centers in the Southern region. The Tenant Coordinator's primary role is to facilitate the collection of rent from tenants in the portfolio. This is an in-office position located at our Corporate Office in the Cobb Galleria office park. Since 1984, TSCGs retail real estate platform has provided a full assortment of advisory services to tenants, landlords, developers, investors, and financial institutions throughout our territory. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar role; experience with collections preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required to work from our Atlanta office
  • Advanced in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher etc.)
  • Experience with one or more major commercial property management systems including Yardi, MRI and Building Engines
  • Functional understanding of property accounting with experience in classifying property expenses
  • Strong work ethic and ability to resolve problems with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems and research if necessary
  • Ability to interpret instructions and ask questions to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate work and follow-up as necessary to receive desired results
  • Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of client and company information
  • Ability to interact positively with clients and/or prospects

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant collections, including all communications and follow-ups on outstanding balances
  • Support Property Managers by owning day-to-day collections activities and reducing their involvement in routine collections
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all property tenants, vendors, and contractors
  • Prepare and send demand letters, and document all collection efforts in Yardi in accordance with company protocols
  • Monitor delinquent accounts, execute standard collections procedures, and escalate complex issues to Property Managers as needed
  • Support the property management team with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, as well as general document creation and editing
  • Maintain and update vendor contracts, certificates of insurance, and service agreements, including tracking expirations and assisting with bid packages
  • Coordinate and manage the tenant and vendor work order system, including responding to maintenance requests and dispatching vendors per PM/SPM direction
  • Assist with administrative functions such as meeting coordination (agendas/notes), check requests, billing adjustments, and other ad hoc support as needed
