Tenant Associate

About The Position

Levy Gardens is seeking a compassionate and reliable Tenant Associate to assist older adults with functional, physical, and/or social impairments who need 24-hour care. This role involves supporting tenants with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, hygiene, mobility, and medication assistance, while fostering independence and dignity. Additional duties include housekeeping, laundry, meal service, and participating in tenant activities. The Tenant Associate will also monitor health and safety, respond to emergencies, and assist with administrative tasks.

Requirements

Must be able to think, act, and intervene in both routine and emergency situations.
Must be self-motivated and function as an "in charge person".
Must demonstrate sound judgment and emotional maturity.
Must be able to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances through interpersonal skills and appropriate communication skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours and participate in holiday activities.
Must be reliable and responsible.
Must work well with the elderly and be a team player.
Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid training preferred.
Experience in long term care preferred.
