This temporary position involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining a safe and healthy aquatic environment at Montgomery College's Rockville and Germantown Campuses. Key duties include performing lifeguard responsibilities, monitoring water chemistry, and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, including locker rooms. Staff will also assist with annual pool maintenance tasks such as draining, cleaning, and refilling. The role supports various pool activities and physical education classes by setting up and tearing down rental areas, distributing equipment, and managing facility opening and closing procedures. Additionally, incumbents will provide information to patrons regarding College classes, recreational swim, and rental programs.
