About The Position

Our busy Campus Store is looking for Retail Associates who enjoy working with the public. We strive to maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in retail and a strong dedication to providing exceptional service for customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old and a current student or possess a high school diploma/HSE.
• Neat and organized.
• Excellent verbal, mathematical, and customer service skills.
• Able to lift 25 to 40 pounds and have the stamina to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and ask if they need assistance.
• Develop solutions for customers by listening to their needs and recommending the appropriate products.
• If you are unsure or unable to assist them, find the proper team member who can assist them.
• Utilize the company’s POS system to cash customers out or administer returns.
• Collaborate with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.
• Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
• Work with established rules and policies.
