About The Position

Wilson Sonsini is the premier legal advisor to technology, life sciences, and other growth enterprises worldwide. We are looking for a graduate student for a short-term, part-time research project (approximately 8 –10 weeks). The role will support a firm history initiative by reviewing and organizing existing archival materials into a clear, well-documented historical outline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, and a preference for Graduate level education in History, Library Sciences, or a closely related field.
  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Experience working with archival or primary source materials.
  • High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing an existing archive of firm materials, including media articles, photographs, interviews, transcripts, timelines, and related documents.
  • Analyzing and organizing materials chronologically and thematically.
  • Developing a concise historical outline of the firm.
  • Footnoting and citing sources accurately.
