About The Position

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse to join our growing Littleton practice! This is a full-time position 4 days a week 7:30am-4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. This temporary position will be needed for six months. Job Purpose: The Nurse will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing education and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey. The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience.

Requirements

Active RN license without limitations - required
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings - required
Microsoft Office proficiency
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience

Nice To Haves

BSN Degree—highly preferred
BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification – preferred
2+ years practical experience working as a nurse – highly preferred
Prior experience in women’s healthcare –preferred

Responsibilities

Assists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.
Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.
Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines:
Reviews medical records and lab results. Ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR.
Communicates test results and patient instructions
Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey. Sets appropriate expectations, educates patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR
Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care. Performs nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns.
Participates in the education and training of nurses. Mentors peers. Promotes a collaborative and productive environment both intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally.
Assists provider with in-office procedures, as needed.
