Summary of Position Functions: Assists in administering the center’s Health and Wellness Services Plan Major Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee scheduling of sick call, infirmary coverage, environmental health, as well as physical and dental exams in accordance with DOL guidelines. Inspect the food service facility and dormitories regularly. Develop and maintain an inventory control system for medication, equipment, and medical supplies. Conduct inventories of supplies and medications monthly. Purchase medication and medical supplies. Participate in nurses’ on-call rotation. Function as a staff nurse as needed. Collect data and maintain wellness monthly Utilization Reports. Plan, organize, and control the use of overtime and on-call staff to ensure compliance with Center and ETR policy and procedures.
