About The Position
Production Associate (Temporary Position - Plaque Department) Location: 1540 High Meadows Way, Cedar Hill, TX 75104 PepWear, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, is a leading, growing company producing and selling screen-printed and embroidered apparel and commemorative plaques at school events and to school groups across the country. With a focus on service, integrity, and learning, our Team makes the difference! We are seeking detail-oriented individuals who want to join our Plaque & Finishing Department Team. This is an entry-level position with ample opportunity to grow and learn new skills in this department and in other PepWear departments. Candidates must be comfortable working with quick turnarounds in a detail-oriented work environment. The ability to learn quickly and be willing to take on new challenges is a must. Experience in the printing industry or another fast-paced business is a big plus. He/She will report to the Plaque Department Manager.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to follow directions and processes
- Physically able to stand for long hours if needed and lift 25 pounds
- Be a team player willing to help when and wherever needed
- A Criminal Background Check is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the printing industry or another fast-paced business is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Plaque production to include cutting, pressing, and boxing metal plaques
- Cleaning and finishing embroidered products
- Weeding and pressing cut vinyl products
- Pressing and creating buttons
- Folding, wrapping, tagging garments, and operating a shrink wrap machine
- Sorting, stuffing, and labeling items for shipping
- Building product displays and wrapping vinyl on grids
- Assist inthe screen printing department when needed, washing, boxing, catching
- Other duties as needed in other production departments
