Your Role on the Team Duties include, but are not limited to: Responds to patient concerns, issues, and grievances; investigates confidential matters, documents activities, and escalates when necessary. Tracks and analyzes patient experience data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and system failures. Assists patients in interpreting hospital policies, procedures, and services; educates patients about their rights in accordance with state law. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of patient-centered care and assists in creating hospital-wide patient service programs. Identifies priority satisfaction issues, drafts proposals for new initiatives, and contributes to team goals and strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve patient issues using sound judgment and diplomacy.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and empathy without admitting wrongdoing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Familiarity with UC policies and procedures.
