About The Position

Patient Relations Specialist Position Description: We are looking for a Patient Relations Specialist to join our Team! The Patient Relations Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center (NDTC) offices. This position provides support to doctors and therapists, and specific duties include: · Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone · Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. · Optimize patients’ satisfaction and provider time by scheduling appointments in person or by phone · Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying providers of patient’s arrival · Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records · Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. · Answers multi-line telephone, document or transfer calls as needed · Collect and balance co-pays daily · Protect patient rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information · Provide patient reminder calls · Using electronic medical records · Scanning and electronic filing · Communicate directly with doctors, therapists, community officials, and other staff members

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and at least one-year experience working in an office setting.
  • Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.
