About The Position

The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized self‐starter with exceptional attention to detail who can effectively collaborate across the Marketing & Business Development team to support various external/practice-specific and internal/firmwide marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on social and digital media and graphic design. They should be eager to learn, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, extremely responsive, able to juggle various projects at a time, pivoting to different priorities as needed. Under direction of the Senior Manager of Creative & Corporate Communications and the Manager of Marketing & Digital Media, the Marketing Coordinator will help shape the brand of a growing legal powerhouse by effectively translating the firm’s strategic marketing objectives into compelling social media, web, email, and video content. They will also assist with distributing that content across various platforms, tracking the success of each, and suggesting/making improvements accordingly.

Requirements

  • Five years in a similar marketing and social media coordinator or assistant position with demonstrable experience at a professional services firm
  • Experience in proactively managing a company’s online presence and reputation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to think quickly, creatively, critically, and analytically
  • Proficient in platforms/tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Instagram (Reels a plus), LinkedIn (Campaign Manager a plus), Sprout Social/Sprout Advocacy, Umbraco (or other website content management system), Vuture (or other email marketing platform), Vimeo
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in PR, marketing, communications, or journalism

Responsibilities

  • Implement the firm’s social media strategy and ensure consistent branding, voice, and visuals across platforms that align with the firm’s website and overall digital strategy.
  • Work with the Manager of Marketing & Digital Media to write, create graphics for, and schedule/publish social media posts optimized for LinkedIn and Instagram to promote various Lowenstein content and initiatives (e.g., awards, bylined articles, client alerts, deal announcements, events, media mentions, podcasts, videos).
  • Stay apprised of emerging technologies, best practices, and trends in social media.
  • Assist with firm website updates (e.g., attorney bios, bylined articles, deal announcements, honors/awards, media mentions, etc.)
  • Assist with formatting and distributing email marketing campaigns (i.e., client alerts, newsletters, etc.)
  • Leverage the firm’s graphic design templates (Canva) to produce sponsorship ads, intranet graphics, posters, and other miscellaneous creative requests.
  • An external design agency develops and produces more complex creative requests, and the Marketing Coordinator may liaise with them as needed.
