Temporary Manager – Finance Governance & Control (2LOD) Overview: RSM is seeking a Temporary Manager to support a financial services client’s Finance Governance and Control function within the Second Line of Defense (2LOD). This role will focus on enhancing process, risk, and control libraries while aligning documentation to the organization’s risk and control reporting tool to ensure consistent capture, monitoring, and reporting across Finance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of risk, controls, internal audit, or finance governance experience within financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and 2LOD responsibilities.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Update and enhance process, risk, and control documentation.
• Align processes within the risk and control reporting platform.
• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
• Support RCSA activities, issue management, and remediation tracking.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit stakeholders.
