About The Position

Transdev in Perris, California is hiring a Temporary Lead Dispatcher. Our Temporary Lead Dispatcher ensures the Dispatch team fills all the routes and provides Operators with timely instructions and responses. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package of minimum $23.00 – Maximum $26.00 This assignment is for 3 months, which may be extended but no longer than 6 months. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Oversee road service and trip performance measures, i.e. route start time, on-time performance, incidents
Respond to customer questions and concerns about no shows, cancellations, and missed trips.
Manage vehicle operator emergency situations & escalated calls.
Always supervise dispatch staff.
Manage department reports and other communication tools.
Support the Dispatch Office in training new employees.
Other duties as required.
