Job duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and perform maintenance of exterior landscapes, including gardening, planting, tree care, and playing‑field upkeep. Manage erosion control, pest management, and exterior fire‑prevention projects. Repair and maintain irrigation systems and grounds‑maintenance equipment.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
1 year of groundskeeping experience.
Knowledge and skill to operate commonly used grounds equipment and tools in a safe manner.
Experience in operating trenchers, tractors, rototillers and other commonly used pieces of power-driven grounds equipment.
Knowledge and ability to install and maintain irrigation equipment.
Ability to effectively work independently or in teams.
Ability to follow through and carry out assignments.
Knowledge of the proper procedures for safely handling and applying toxic materials such as fertilizers and pesticides.

Nice To Haves

Experience working outdoors in various environments.
Possession at time of hire and maintaining a valid California Class C driver's license and a safe driving record.
