About The Position
Phillips Academy seeks a temporary summer grounds worker. This position will assist the Grounds Crew with campus-wide landscape maintenance, including lawn mowing, string trimming, leaf and debris clean up, and shrub pruning/sheering. Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, candidates will ideally be available to start in early May and work through mid to late August 2026.
Requirements
- Experience using a push mover, string trimmer and/or zero-turn mower and pruning sheers preferred
- Must have the ability to operate lawn care equipment
- Assist in leaf removal operations
- Work in all weather conditions
- Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Due to the use of power tools candidates must be 18+ years of age.
- Valid driver's license
- Any offers of employment will be contingent upon successful CORI/SORI, ADP (RMV record) and fingerprinting background checks as well as unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
