About The Position
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Grounds Department is seeking Temporary MSW3 Grounds Maintenance Workers to support winter operations. These positions are essential in maintaining safe and accessible conditions across campus during the winter season. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Dependable and safety-focused.
- Capable of performing physical labor throughout the workday.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- To be eligible for this position, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Applicants who now or may in the future require visa sponsorship to work in the United States are not eligible.
Responsibilities
- Removing snow and ice from building entrances, stairs, and handicap ramps
- Spreading traction materials such as sand and gravel
- Performing general grounds maintenance tasks as assigned
