About The Position

The Front Desk Manager serves as the property Manager on Duty and oversees and supports the daily operations of guest services. They lead and inspire the Front Desk team. Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an empathetic heart
  • Technologically sound with Google applications, Opera and Micros
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Understands the difference between a boss and a leader
  • Able to prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up and execution

Responsibilities

  • Leads and empowers the FD team to provide exceptional guest service
  • Trains, coaches and mentors the FD team to promote further growth and development
  • Intervenes in any guest/team member situations as needed
  • Monitors FD operations to ensure brand standards are being followed and properly executed
  • Ensures all FD shift responsibilities (reports, etc.) are executed correctly and efficiently
  • Empowers members of the team and pushes development of the FD team
  • Promotes an energizing environment for both guests and the team where a sense of community and inclusivity are held as a top priority
  • Ensures all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to amongst the FD team
  • Monitors and partners with Front Office Manager concerning upkeep of Ace Retail inventory and overall management (daily counts, end-of-month reports, etc.)
  • Executes daily pre-shift meetings
  • Reviews highlights of resumes, guest opportunities, occupancy, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality of guest, employee and company information
