This is a temporary position within the Division of Rheumatology at the School of Medicine, working with an Associate Professor of Medicine and an Associate Director of Translational Medicine. The laboratory focuses on studying the immune system, emerging infectious diseases, and rare rheumatic diseases, with a particular emphasis on understanding how interferons regulate immune responses. The role involves experiments utilizing animal models of human disease, including studies of viruses and animals with gene mutations related to viral nucleic acid sensors. Key responsibilities will include screening inhibitors and degraders, as well as performing mouse work.
