Temporary Designer - 2 month assignment
About The Position
SET Active is a fast-paced, growing women's athleisure startup known for delivering elevated everyday essentials designed for movement, comfort, and lifestyle. We're a small but mighty team with big ambitions-and we're looking for a strategic, solutions-oriented, and collaborative production leader to take us to the next level. About the Role: This role supports a short-term assignment contributing directly to the creative vision of our high-end women's athleisure collections. The designer will collaborate closely with the CEO/Founder on design direction, ideation, and innovative product concepts.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional design experience
- Strong background in women's apparel, ideally high-end athleisure/athletic wear
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to creative direction and innovative design solutions
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant apparel design and ideation experience
Responsibilities
- Contribute to creative direction and ideation sessions with the CEO/Founder and design team
- Assist in designing women's apparel and athleisure collections with trend-forward styling
- Develop technical designs, CADs, and tech packs
- Collaborate with production, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure design vision translates into product
- Complete assigned projects and candidate work samples as requested
