Support the purchasing functions by placing purchase orders from requisitions, maintaining data integrity in the business system, communicating delivery information and organizing files for all purchasing documents. Perform materials quotation for prices and delivery Review material price variances and provide feedback for resolution Perform data entry and maintain purchasing data in computer system
Requirements
- MRP exposure preferred
- Basic level of computer skills: e-mail, Word, and Excel
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills needed
- Abilities listed in the General Requirements of Team Members
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum one year relevant purchasing experience required in a manufacturing environment
