Temporary Accounting Support Specialist
About The Position
Qualifications you'll bring: AAS degree accounting or business-related field or combination of equivalent education and experience. 0-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (internship or entry-level roles preferred). Temporary full-time position requiring on-site attendance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth Humility to play as a team Commitment to being the difference for our customers in every interaction Your key responsibilities: Assist with the preparation & analyses of financial reports to support business decision-making. Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and entering them into ERP. Assist in compliance and audit-related documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects. Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies. Enter data for all statutory filings with a high degree of accuracy. Ensure timely submission of statutory reporting data to allow for thorough management review. Utilize different external software applications to complete statutory reports. Organize and archive documentation for all statutory filings.
