Temporary Accounting Associate
About The Position
Trust Environmental Services is an environmental services company based in Camarillo, California, providing environmental solutions for commercial and residential clients. We support fast-paced field operations with strong internal teams focused on accuracy, accountability, and collaboration. We’re looking for a Temporary Accounting Associate - Billing to jump in and support our accounting team right away. This is a full-time, remote opportunity expected to last 4–6 months, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. All necessary equipment will be provided. While this role is remote, preference will be given to candidates residing in or near the Los Angeles / Orange County area. If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable working in QuickBooks Online, and enjoy keeping billing processes accurate and organized, this could be a great fit.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative accounting environment
Nice To Haves
- Salesforce experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare and send customer invoices using QuickBooks Online
- Record and apply incoming payments accurately, including payments covering multiple invoices
- Maintain clear, thorough notes and documentation related to billing and payments
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing
- Follow established processes, documentation standards, and SOPs
- Assist with billing questions, COD payments, and client communications as needed
