Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in humanities research issues and methods.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Experience with event planning, program facilitation, and basic budgetary principles.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree in the humanities or humanistic social sciences (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Experience with grants management or project management software.
- Proficiency with WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe, and Canva; creativity and interest in design/visual presentation.
- Familiarity with the UC system, university administrative processes, and tools such as Kuali Financial System (KFS).
Responsibilities
- Administer competitive grants programs, including tracking, documentation, and coordination across UC campuses.
- Review and support budget processes, including basic analysis and financial documentation.
- Plan and organize events, workshops, and programmatic activities for faculty and university partners.
- Oversee communications, including newsletters, social media, website updates, and general content creation.
