Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • Prior experience with thermodynamics concepts
  • At least two years of calibration experience supporting ISO/IEC 17025 accredited processes
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and customer‑focused mindset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Self‑motivation, problem‑solving ability, and a drive to learn and grow

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with measurement uncertainty concepts
  • Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW)
  • Technical writing experience related to procedures, reports, or documentation

Responsibilities

  • Performing calibration activities on new production units and customer‑returned instruments
  • Maintaining traceability of laboratory equipment through in-house or external calibration services
  • Working in alignment with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality standards and promoting a culture of accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborating with experienced metrologists and technicians to learn calibration techniques and best practices
  • Applying problem‑solving and data analysis skills to improve measurement processes
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of calibration methods, measurement uncertainty analyses, and standard work
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory
  • Over time, partnering with design engineering teams on new product introductions and system enhancements
