Job Summary The Metrologist for our New England Pharma Services team support internal and external clients and must be very skilled in electrical calibration preferably in a Pharmaceutical setting. This role is critical to developing and maintaining the electrical discipline and standards, lab automation, and MET/CAL processes, as well as assisting with audits and documentation. The role is both production and technical based. The position requires a strong background in electronics and programming. On-Site Expectations 100% on-site position. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • Degree in either computer programming, electronics, or electrical engineering with 4+ years applicable experience.
  • Basic understanding of circuits, components, equipment and instrumentation for manufacturing and laboratories.
  • Programming using MET/CAL, .NET languages (C# and VB.NET), SQL, and/or Python
  • Excellent mechanical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Performs calibrations, PMs and repairs
  • Utilizes several database systems
  • Maintains all logs, control charts, and required documentation.
  • Reads and follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Disassembles and reassembles instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspects instruments and equipment for defects.
  • Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.
  • Updates and maintains electrical uncertainty budgets, SOPs, and MET/CAL programs
  • Other duties as assigned.
