About The Position

We are looking for a Temperature Logistics Expert (x|f|m) for the Global Freight & Logistics Procurement division at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping and steering the design, further development, validation and monitoring of our temperature-controlled logistics processes for temperature-sensitive products in the biopharma and laboratory equipment sectors. They act as a central point of contact for all questions relating to temperature-controlled transport and ensure product integrity along the entire supply chain – in compliance with the relevant GDP-|GxP specifications. The focus of the position is on the continuous development of robust, efficient and future-proof logistics concepts in the field of tension between compliance, product safety and cost efficiency. This position will be filled on a full-time basis. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Goettingen with the opportunity to work some days remotely.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in temperature-controlled logistics, preferably in the biopharma or healthcare sector
• Proven track record in validation and qualification of cold chain packaging, storage, transportation, and temperature monitoring systems
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (GDP, GxP, IATA, WHO TRS)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages beneficial), German preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment
• Detail-oriented, with a high sense of responsibility and compliance mindset
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of end-to-end strategies for temperature-controlled transports (2-8°C, -20°C, -80°C, CRT), tailored to product-specific regulatory requirements
• Select, qualify and validate temperature-controlled packaging, monitoring and transport solutions, taking into account all requirements and costs
• Design differentiated logistics concepts for regulated and non-regulated products to ensure an optimal balance between quality assurance and cost efficiency
• Plan, execute and document validations of temperature-controlled transport systems
• Carry out risk analyses for transport routes as well as thermal tests to ensure compliance with product-specific stability requirements
• Implement temperature monitoring and real-time tracking systems
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensuring compliance with GDP, GMP and other regulations where applicable
• Provide technical training to logistics partners on the handling and monitoring of the cold chain
• Contribution to business continuity and emergency concepts for temperature-sensitive shipments
