About The Position

Performs responsible clerical, administrative, manual labor, and accounting tasks related to the purchase, receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of uniforms, supplies, and services. Work also includes filling in as the department Mail/Courier Clerk and transporting sensitive documents. Work will involve the operation of equipment utilized for loading, unloading, and moving supplies. Work is performed under general supervision. THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and preferred one (1) year inventory/warehousing experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarization with Fire and EMS equipment highly desired.
