About The Position

The Teller position at Trustmark Bank is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service through the processing of various cash and non-cash transactions. Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• At least six months of customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of math concepts and principles.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Ability to recognize customer needs and make appropriate referrals.
• Ability to meet referral goals in a retail environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal technology systems.
• Must pass Teller Simulation test.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to handle daily lifting of boxed or bagged coins.
• Balancing experience preferred.
• Ability to sit for long periods and use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Represent Trustmark professionally and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction during interactions.
• Acknowledge and greet customers warmly, using their names during transactions.
• Check for additional customer needs and thank them upon leaving.
• Safeguard the bank's assets and maintain a secure working environment while processing transactions accurately.
• Assist in developing new business by identifying customer needs and referring them to appropriate sales staff.
• Process various transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and more.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
