About The Position

Under supervision of the Branch Manager, and in compliance with established policies and procedures, performs a variety of teller related functions, such as processing share account, checking account, and loan transactions, cashing checks, and selling money orders and travelers checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2 or more years teller or related experience.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Intermediate computer or other knowledge including the ability to operate Credit Union's in-house teller terminal and other standard office equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Represents the Credit Union to the members in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
• Performs all teller functions, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, selling money orders and travelers checks, maintaining cash drawer, and accurate knowledge of VISA payments, and VISA cash advances.
• Assists with clerical duties such as filing, typing, and record keeping.
• Actively cross-sells Credit Union services and assists in meeting branch goals
• May perform member service and lending functions, if qualified.
• Other duties as assigned
• This position will support all CorePlus branch locations.
