The role involves delivering a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. This includes processing various customer interactions, educating customers on financial alternatives, identifying banking opportunities, and making appropriate referrals to branch staff. Tellers perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products, educate on managing financial transactions using technology, and apply product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems. Adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment, and ensuring efficient and accurate daily operations are also key aspects. Employees are expected to be customer-focused and adept at managing risk in line with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
