WORK DETAILS This position will be based out of our downtown Hutchinson branch at 129 West Avenue A or our 23rd and Severance branch at 900 E 23rd Ave. Availability is required for 36 to 40 hours per week during the following hours: Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., and rotating Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. NO Evenings or Sundays!!

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
Experience working in a financial institution is helpful but not required.
Proficient with technology and variety of software including MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
Well organized and attentive to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to move 30 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently.
Stationary for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Greets customers entering the branch, directs them to the correct staff member for assistance and provides assistance with ATM usage, coin counting machine, safety deposit boxes and other branch services.
Responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of paying and receiving functions including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances.
Verifies cash totals and balances each day's transactions.
Educate members of credit union products and services.
Balances ATM machines, coin counters, and cash dispensing/recycling machines in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensures members are promptly and professionally served.
Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
Provides superior service to our members.
Proactively support and advance HCU's brand platform.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
