The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, cash handling experience and an interest in learning more about banking. As a Teller you are a frontline ambassador of the bank, providing face-to-face customer service and processing a variety of financial transactions. Tellers are the first point of contact for many customers and play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive banking experience. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months customer service experience. Six months prior cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking ability preferred.
  • Strong math and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high monetary risk environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Six months prior cash handling experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking ability preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals and loan payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Provide customer service and answer questions about bank products and services.
  • Assist with opening and closing the bank.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
