About The Position

Jefferson Bank is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill the role
of Teller. The Teller works in a fast-paced, fun environment with opportunities
for advancement. The candidate should provide a professional image and be the
face and voice of our company. This is a great opportunity for the right

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred
• Basic math skills, PC and typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner
• Look for cross-sell opportunities in a customer-centric manner
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 20 lbs.
• Must be available to work all throughout the year. This is not a seasonal only position.

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner via the lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM Balance assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable
• Actively listen to our customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times, even in difficult situations
• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer
• Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services
• Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures and regulations
