The Job at a Glance Provides financial and account services to members in a confident and professional manner that assures efficient operations and exceptional service. Assertively executes cross selling with members and potential members to increase growth. This position requires accurately handling member requests, such as but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and/or any other request from members. Accommodates staffing needs throughout the branch platform as required. A Typical Day Take responsibility and accountability in following all service standards set forth by the credit union; provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates. Process member transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Perform member servicing requests such as issuing debit cards and check ordering. Remain updated and adhere to protocol and procedures for fraud, check holds and check negotiability Assist members with closing accounts, respond to members’ requests, resolve issues, problems, complaints and/or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance Promote the credit union’s products and services based on member needs and identifying opportunities; actively participate in developing new business for the credit union Accountable for achieving or exceeding individual sales goals and participating in team sales and referral goals. Maintains knowledge of all Credit Union 1 products, services, and procedures while staying informed of all policy and procedural changes. Maintains member confidence and protects credit union operations by keeping information confidential. Performs other duties as necessary or directed.
