Requirements

• Basic math skills
• PC and typing skills
• Ability to count U.S. currency
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner
• Look for cross-sell opportunities in a customer-centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process a variety of financial transactions in a friendly and professional manner.
• Balance an assigned cash drawer daily and identify and resolve any discrepancies as needed.
• Actively listen to customers and always communicate positively and professionally
• Identify customer needs and recommend bank products and services that are customer-focused and solution-oriented.
• Make appropriate referrals to other lines of business for both traditional and non-traditional products and services.
• Contribute to the achievement of both individual and team goals by supporting overall branch performance and success.
• Effectively de-escalate customer concerns or complaints by remaining calm, empathetic, and solution-focused, while following bank policies and escalation procedures as needed.
• Perform all teller duties in compliance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
