About The Position

As a Teller at KeyBank, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to clients, providing exceptional service and assisting with account transactions. Your role will involve identifying client needs, resolving servicing issues, and facilitating deeper financial wellness conversations by transitioning clients to bankers. The position emphasizes a strong client experience culture and requires adherence to compliance and security procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience (required).
• Experience in a client service role (required).
• Experience in cash handling (required).
• General understanding of PC with Windows-based applications and calculator (required).
• Strong sales and service skills, with the ability to educate clients on available access channels.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent client service by welcoming new and existing clients and assisting with account transactions.
• Identify and resolve client servicing issues proactively, escalating as needed.
• Listen for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and transition clients to a Banker.
• Assist clients in achieving their financial goals using financial wellness tools.
• Participate in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs.
• Follow compliance, audit, and security procedures, balancing cash drawer within guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies to stay current on offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
