As a Teller Supervisor, you’ll play an essential role here leading our front line, managing your day based on four key drivers: Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Team Management. You’ll maintain responsibility for the supervision of the teller area, while leading by example and motivating, coaching, and training your employees. Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in banking
  • At least 2 years experience Supervising in banking/customer service
  • Adaptability in high-traffic vs. low-traffic business flow
  • Strong communication skills, including attentive & active listening
  • Efficient at multitasking and understand patience and empathy for others
  • Ability to motivate, coach, and influence others
  • Must be open to feedback and coachable

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and strives to create a world class experience for members
  • Actively seek out consultative sales opportunities, cross-sell opportunities and promotes credit union products and services based on member needs
  • Supervise the activities of the teller operations area by assigning work, answering questions, solving problems, helping with complex transactions and sensitive member relations problems.
  • Help members understand policies and procedures as they relate to them
  • Ensure that staff is trained and cross-trained in all phases of their particular jobs and in all credit union products and services to ensure the delivery of quality service to members and to ensure accuracy in transactions
  • Coach tellers to ensure our high standards are being met
  • Hold periodic staff meetings to discuss areas needing improvement, changes in procedures, new developments or services, and to present general information.
