About The Position

Teller Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and modeling the highest level of customer service while managing the teller operational staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of Teller experience
  • Excellent customer service skills, including oral and written communication
  • Prior supervisory experience and demonstrated ability to lead others
  • Ability to lead, motivate and coach staff
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers
  • Knowledge of teller cash limits, teller machines, and preparation of teller work
  • Ability to balance teller cash and maintain acceptable balancing percentages as defined by Management
  • Strong work ethic and high integrity
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work various hours as assigned to meet the needs of the business (open/close branch) and follow security procedures
  • Ability to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers and facilitating a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
  • Trains new Tellers to ensure procedures are understood and executed properly to adherer to internal controls.
  • Perform monthly surprise cash audits as well as month-end audit procedures.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and concerns and creating positive solutions.
  • Ensure teller area adheres to internal controls, internally developed audit, compliance & operational procedures
  • Identify and keeps tellers informed of areas that provide potential risk or loss; such as counterfeit bills, forgeries, stolen checks, etc.
  • Oversee and supervise teller activities, including but not limited to: Monitoring teller’s outages, cash limits, transaction numbers, cash orders, surprise cash counts, etc.
  • Coach staff to achieve customer service, referral and performance goals
  • Manages schedule, monitors overtime and assigns tasks as needed.
  • Promote BancFirst services through cross selling banking products to new and existing clientele.
  • Extraordinary customer service will be required at all times.
  • Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned.
