About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provides customer account services by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, and selling cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and savings bonds.
• Answers customer's questions in person and/or on the telephone.
• Records customer account transactions by logging cashier checks, traveler's checks, and other special services; preparing currency transaction reports.
• Cross-sells bank products by answering inquiries and informing customers of new services and product promotions.
• Completes special customer requests by closing accounts, taking orders for checks, and providing special statements and referrals.
• Reconciles cash drawer by counting and packaging currency and coins; maintaining supply of cash and currency.
• Complies with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions and maintaining customer traffic surveys.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
• Improves teller job knowledge by attending training sessions.
• Contributes to customer service and bank success by welcoming new requests and helping others accomplish job results.
