About The Position

United Community is in search of a Teller I to join their team. As a Teller I, the role involves engaging in a wide range of financial transactions and services for customers, including answering questions, addressing banking needs, and identifying opportunities to introduce new or enhanced UCB products and services. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional assistance, ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing, safeguarding both bank and customer assets by adhering to established procedures, and fostering strong customer relationships through outstanding service.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a cash handling/customer service role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background & credit check

Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking services
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer
  • Adhere to all banking regulations and security procedures
