The Teller I works in a TD Store location and plays a key role in delivering legendary customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. This role also involves educating customers on TD's products and services or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions. The position is responsible for executing TD's Brand promise, performing various customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments, and processing cash transactions with high accuracy. The Teller I responds to and resolves customer inquiries, engages in lobby leadership, and educates customers on self-service/digital options. They act as a customer advocate by conducting needs-based conversations, offering financial and digital solutions, and making sound decisions for problem resolution. The role ensures compliance with company guidelines and regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act, verifies customer identities, balances cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs, and adheres to safe deposit box procedures. They are accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits, securing cash, and ensuring confidential customer information is stored securely. The Teller I understands and follows dual control, security, and audit measures to minimize loss and prevent fraud, and is expected to complete all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.
