About The Position

Responsible for completing financial transactions, as well as educating and referring customers to the Banks products and services.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED; equivalent experience: 1 year of experience is equal to 1 year of education.
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in banking and/or cash handling related field is required.
  • General computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Accepts deposits, verifies cash, cashes checks.
  • Processes cash withdrawals, collection items, cash advances, transfer of funds requests, and stop payment orders.
  • Accepts payments for loans.
  • Balances and services ATM as needed.
  • Completes Currency Transaction Reports.
  • Balances coin machine.
  • Orders cash and currency.
  • Process customer check orders.
  • Redeems savings bonds.
  • Promotes the bank's products and services; consistently cross-sells bank products at every opportunity.
  • Balances drawer daily.
  • May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
  • Answers customer questions and attempts to resolve customer problems.
  • Follows teller policy.
  • Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers and potential customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
