Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator, and data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Completion of required Southside Bank training classes.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller services including processing deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks accurately.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in line with Southside Bank's standards.
• Meet or exceed operational and sales goals set by retail management.
• Complete customer follow-up calls and resolve issues as directed by management.
• Cross-sell bank products and services to customers based on their needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information and records.
• Follow established policies to prevent fraudulent activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain cash drawer limits and meet balancing standards daily.
• Perform special services requested by customers, such as selling official checks and processing loan payments.
• Assist with opening and closing duties of the branch.
