About The Position

The Teller position at Members 1st Federal Credit Union is designed to provide accurate and efficient processing of members' financial transactions, ensuring high levels of member satisfaction. This role contributes to the achievement of sales goals by identifying members' product and service needs while maintaining accurate record-keeping of member accounts. The Teller will facilitate member transactions, promote the credit union's services, and support general branch operations under moderate supervision.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of progressive retail financial or customer service experience for Teller I Level.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail banking or credit union experience for Teller III Level, including cash handling and customer service experience.
• Understanding of financial services regulatory policies and compliance for Teller III Level.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial experience identifying and promoting products and services.

Responsibilities

• Process members' financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping of member accounts.
• Identify members' product and service needs to contribute to sales goals.
• Educate members on credit union products and services.
• Perform balancing procedures and end-of-day procedures.
• Support general branch office operations and processing.
