About The Position

At R.I.A. Federal Credit Union a Teller’s primary focus is to improve the financial well-being of our members. Teller’s will invest the time to get to know each member and take care of their needs while finding opportunities to improve their financial well-being. Requirements

• Minimum High School graduate or GED.
• Experience in banking and/or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of product/services knowledge to educate members and prospective members.
• Interact with members and prospective members regarding deposit and loan accounts.
• Perform banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and transfers.
• Assist in branch opening and closing procedures.
• Uncover opportunities to improve the financial well-being of members and refer them to respective teams.
• Adhere to compliance and safety rules and regulations.
• Balance and handle cash in a safe and secure manner.
