About The Position

Sound Credit Union is seeking a Teller Floater / Member Service Representative to support branches in the Thurston Region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, curiosity, problem-solving skills, and value building customer relationships. The position offers opportunities for professional development through a unique Branch Progression Model, providing advancement and salary increases via on-the-job training. Employees are eligible for quarterly incentives tied to product and service goals, and a monetary incentive when the branch meets quarterly goals and audit. Requirements

  • One year experience in a customer service position required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be bondable
  • Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization is not available
  • Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law
  • Ability to flexibly travel between branches

Nice To Haves

  • Cash handling and retail sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist members with financial transactions
  • Respond to inquiries
  • Build relationships
  • Provide information on account status, balances, and loan details to deliver exceptional member service
