Department: 420 Branch Administration Job Summary: The Teller Auditor position is responsible for mitigating losses by conducting quarterly cash audits, monitoring cash limits, work teller reconciliations, conduct research on any outages, and ensure outages are reported. Also assists Tellers with override transactions, Reg CC holds and training. Conduct assigned quarterly cash audits Conduct research on teller related issues and cash box and/or vault outages Monitor cash limits and ensure weekly cash orders are timely Monitor work teller reconciliation and report outages Formulate reports to review and evaluate the overall teller operations of the Market Facilitate transaction overrides and customer portfolio approvals to expedite customer experience while mitigating loss Provide branch staff with immediate feedback based on audit findings and observations Provide Branch manager with feedback from overall branch assessment to aid in employee development, coaching and completion of performance evaluations Flexible to travel and assist other branches Flexible to perform the functions of a teller Initiate teller set ups to ensure tellers can perform job duties Attend, participate and facilitate in meetings as needed Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS Good Oral and Written Communication (Bilingual preferred for border markets). 10 Key Service Oriented Time Management Learning strategies Mathematics Instructing Complex Problem Solving Critical Thinking Organization Social perceptiveness Judgement and sound decision-making abilities EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High school graduate or GED equivalent 1 to 3 years of teller or equivalent experience preferred Cash handling experience required Customer service experience required IBC Bank was founded in 1966 to meet the needs of small businesses in Laredo, Texas.
