About The Position

The Merrimack is seeking a friendly and motivated individual for a career growth opportunity as a Teller Apprentice at our North Main Street branch in Concord, NH. Starting salary is $19.00 per hour Our Teller Apprentice must complete 2,000 hours (minimum of 1 year) of competency based, on-the-job learning and 148.75 hours of related instruction. A portion of related instruction hours, through WorkReadyNH, may be required to complete on own time. Upon successful completion and demonstration of competency in all required training areas, will allow for Application for Certification of Completion of Apprenticeship through the United States Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.

Requirements

On track to graduate high school or high school diploma or equivalency
Previous related experience and/or training in a customer service environment
Intermediate use of desktop applications
Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills
Must be able to work rotating Saturdays
Ability to travel between offices as required

Responsibilities

Process customer deposits, account withdrawals, cashing checks, issuing bank and travelers checks, issuing and redeeming savings bonds and processing loan payments
Promotes and sells bank products and services to new and existing customers
Responds to questions and resolve problems or concerns for customers effectively and efficiently
