About The Position
Works as a direct patient caregiver under the supervision of professional clinical staff. Functions as a clerk/receptionist for the ICU. Assists with patient care. Acts as a cardiac monitor technician.
Responsibilities
- Assists RN's in carrying out some aspects of patient care as assigned.
- Assists in maintaining patient records and transcribing physician orders.
- Demonstrates effective and courteous communication skills.
- Orders and maintains unit supplies and equipment.
- Maintains and applies Telemetry monitoring equipment.
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and maintains patient rhythm strip records.
